Open-end rivets, when set, resemble conventional tubular rivets. However, unlike tubular rivets, the mandrel is retained within the head.
Providing strong, low-cost fastenings, open-end rivets are ideal for a very wide range of applications. They are available in a variety of materials and combinations with dome, countersunk, or large-flange head styles.

Once a rivet nut is installed, it is ready to use, with clean threads available for screw attachments.
